Mission
Solugen’s mission is to decarbonize chemicals manufacturing. As a first step, Solugen built its first 10,000 tons per year commercial plant with potential to offset 37,000 tons per year of carbon dioxide equivalents. This role will directly support Solugen’s mission by assisting the various R&D teams and Operations with analysis of various samples and products. The individual will report to one of the Analytical Scientists and assist with experiments and analysis to support Solugen’s future R&D, production, and revenue goals.
This role will be involved with testing samples from production (10KTA - Bioforge) and various R&D teams (enzymology, heterogeneous catalysis, strain development, formulations, process development) on various analytical equipment (HPLC, ICP, GCMS, etc.). .). He/she will ensure that all sample analyses adhere to strict standard operating and calibration procedures used in the laboratory. This is a hands-on role where the individual’s initiative, laboratory prowess, and energy will make a substantial impact on the company.
