Senior BioProcess Engineer

Reporting to the Operations Engineering Manager with a strong dotted line to the Director of Process Development, this individual will be responsible for executing technology transfers and scale-ups to Solugen’s fermentation plant and troubleshooting process technology challenges. This is a hands-on role where the individual’s initiative, engineering prowess, energy level and creativity will make a substantial impact on the company. This individual will be expected to partner closely with the Process Development team to explore new technologies and scale-ups.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Biology and minimum 8 years’ experience in fermentation/bioprocess development or bioprocess scaleup/technology transfers. MS or PhD preferred. May substitute additional 4 years fermentation/bioprocess experience for BS degree.
Up to 25% travel required.
