Mission
Solugen’s mission is to decarbonize chemicals manufacturing. As a first step, Solugen has commissioned BioForge I with a nameplate manufacturing capacity of 10,000 tpy and the potential to offset up to 37,000 tpy of carbon dioxide equivalents. BioForge II planning is well underway with a Q1-2025 commission date target.
The mission of this role is to expand the Bioforge TM opportunity pipeline and convert to sales, specifically Solugen’s manufactured organic acids for customers in the Oil and Gas industry.
A successful candidate will use a consultative selling style to close on ratable BioForge offtake volume. They will act as point of contact post-sale and hand off to the Solugen Account Management team for ongoing customer satisfaction, retention, and growing Solugen’s Oil and Gas chemical business.
In addition to face-to-face meetings, this role will engage with customers over the phone and Internet (e.g., chat, email, video conferencing, etc.) to close sales and support clients. The role will also respond to client inquiries and offer guidance on appropriate products and services.
As an experienced sales executive with a track record of success, this role will execute sales strategy, contribute sales and opportunity data to SalesForce, and identify opportunities to increase sales volume while ensuring service levels are met.
This role will serve as an authority within the Oil and Gas chemicals industry field and should demonstrates mastery of sales techniques. The successful candidate will complete the most-complex sales to the company's most important Oil and Gas BioForge clients and maintain a large and influential network of contacts. They should have a highly visible industry presence. Travel for customer calls and trade shows for this role are essential.

Qualifications
This role requires a bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 15+ years of relevant sales experience.
